WHICH ENGLISH EXAM WOULD BE BEST FOR ME?

Firstly, we are going to understand the meaning and purpose of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. As its title says it is a frame of reference which divides learners into six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2; for each level there is a description of what the learner has to be able to do in the four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

COMMON REFERENCE LEVELS

You can get more information here: https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages/.

Secondly, there are so many different kinds of exams which are useful or necessary to prove your English level, but sometimes it can be hard to know which one to choose. I will try to explain to you the below-mentioned tests in future posts

- Cambridge English Qualifications
- Aptis by British Council
- IELTS (International English Language Testing)
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
- TOEIC ( Test of English for International Communication)
- TRINITY COLLEGE
- OTE ( Oxford Test of English)
